Beliefs

At IM School, we believe each child is unique and deserve tailored education. In other words, we do not believe in educating children the same way with a general lesson plan because every child learns differently. We also believe children’s learning ability is optimized in a stress free, happy and friendly environment free from noise, distractions and pressure; therefore IM School environment embodies this belief from our large outdoor playground with high quality play equipments, to our spacious lesson rooms and friendly motivated teachers that educate 4 to 10 children depending on age group. We also attach assistant teachers to each age group to ensure every child receives tailored lessons and parents receive daily progress updates. Children are fed fresh and healthy foods in addition to wide range of extracurricular activities that promote their general well being.

Vision

The vision of IM School is to be a highly valued Catholic and Finnish school of good image that offers the opportunity of constant learning through play and ingenious activities starting from babies’ playschool/crèche up to the nursery and primary study levels.

To help us achieve our vision we have aligned our local curriculum with leading Finnish, Estonian, UK EYFS and US curricula that are carefully blended or selected to meet each child’s unique learning needs. Also, to further strengthen realisation of our vision, our school environment was carefully chosen to be conducive for learning by locating IM School away from busy and noisy districts. Our use of clean solar power helps us eliminate air and noise pollutions associated with fossil fuel generators to further enhance student learning outcomes and IM School’s vision actualization. And very importantly, spiritual direction is provided by the Catholic Church for a complete wellbeing of the child.
